Artist Statement:

In my artistic process I am trying to capture and transform the subject into something new and different. Using oils, pastels, and watercolors allows me to express my connection with nature.

With composition and colors I work to embody my reality in symbolic meaning. By painting, I can unravel the hidden narrative in each object. The secret language of the flowers locked in every petal and leaf, fruits and veggies committed to protecting and exalting life, a little piece of sky or earth where I can walk while dreaming, transport me into transcendence.

When I can capture and communicate their feelings, my spirit rejoices.

There are moments in which the wisdom they speak with disappears. It is from there that I continue working, looking for the fragments of myself captured within the paper or canvas.

About the Archived Website:

My old website was an act of love. Its designer was able to capture the essence not only of my work but also of my soul. He helped me to understand and communicate all my ideas, my dreams, even those which were lying in my unconscious, bringing my spirit the unity and peace I needed to create.
